BMW Motorrad has globally unveiled its first sub 500cc motorcycle- the “G 310 R” is designed and developed exclusively by the home team of Bavarian Motor Works at their Germany based facility. The new G 301R has taken the design cues from their elder sibling- S1000R. BMW has taken the crucial decision of coming into the sub 500cc motor class by undergoing joint venture with TVS Motors India.
India being one of the largest markets for the global automobile industry has always immense potential for manufacturing auto parts and two wheelers on the whole. The cheaper workforce and easy labor laws of the land further catalyzed the process of foreign investments in automobile sector.
