BMC Software India is great place to work.
They have excellent policies in favour of employee.
I worked at BMC Pune. I really felt the ownership of the product and my managers were very good.
HR:
BMC conducts timely employee surveys.
BMC HR really strives well to make their employees happy.
FUN@WORK
I used to enjoy free snacks, cool drinks at BMC. I really enjoyed my stay at BMC. At BMC you dont have to go in formals. They promote coolest work places. BMC do not block yahoo, gmail etc, but they expect their employees to mind the content of sites they visit. Quartely outings are really good. Unlike other companies BMC do not conduct outings on week ends. They belive that weekends are for personal life.
MONEY:
BMC's education assitance was really good. They even provode vehicle assitance and house loan assitance. BMC's variable pay plan - called GICP is really transparent . You will get more than what you deserv. BMC is one of the pay masters in Pune. Apprisal process is yearly and there is one market correction cycle. This markect correction is not garuenteed from but past 3 years BMC applied this market correction. Compensatory off is given to those who work on week ends and late nights.
LOCATIONS:
They have offices at Pune, Bangalore and Mumbai.
here no manager bullying, no 8 hours stay rules, no formal rules.
If you are able to crack BMC selection process then you are lucky enough. If I get a chance again Ill really join BMC again.
