For people in the eastern suburbs this multiplex is conveniently located. Right on LBS road with a great parking area. If you don't have a vehicle, an auto ride from Mulund station should cost you just about 12 rupees. A decent surrounding and environs and a great soundsystem. Hell, I remember my heart pounding listening to the sound in the scene where the Shark attacks Nemo and Dory. All that you would expect from the Adlabs theaters is here. Tickets can be bought on credit cards and that is a real hassle saver. The prices are decent too about Rs. 60 for Silver (front rows) and Rs 80 for Gold (Back Rows) The seating is comfortable with can holders on armrests. You can book tickets online at https://adlabsmultiplex.com or SMS book tickets too and thats really great. Now the only thing that remains is to reach on time :)
The only thing that sucks in the no outside food allowed policy. Although a norm in other theaters, the fact that this multiplex is integrated into a shopping mall should have been considered by the authorities. It is plainly irritating to be asked to dump all those sandwiches and the cokes you are sipping, with the guard at the gate. Granted they would like their in theater food joints to make some money as well, but it just leaves a very bad impression on you because you have a very restricted choice and sucks of bad management. Considering it markets itself as an Americanised mall/theater complex it should do away with the ''no outside food allowed'' policy. Additionaly I would have expected a tray from the inhouse food joint when I buy lots of stuff, but they just cram it on you and you have to manoeuvre you way to the seat.
Also this theater falls for the disgusting trend of not showing all the credits till the end. I really hate to see the screen go blank right in the middle of the credits. All an all its a nice experience if you are looking just for the film and don't compare it with any American multiplexes. However compare it with other Indian theaters and you will enjoy the experience.
