Manhunters is a 3 part TV drama which aired on BBC - 2 in 2005. I wanted to watch this series as the first episode was on the "Man eating leopard of Rudraprayag" however I was disappointed, very disappointed with the episode.
The story has been almost entirely altered from what is on the book written by Jim Corbett. In the TV episode, Corbett has been portrayed as an arrogant young man who has an affair with his friend's wife which is preposterous, absolutely made up and utter rubbish. I do not want to write a lengthy review as I did not like any part of this episode. It was a complete deviation from the actual facts and I felt at times that the director was comatose when he made this episode.
People who have not read the book may find this TV series good as the shots taken in the wild are nice, however those who have read the book and expect accuracy will be in for a shock.
