Axis bank is supposed to be a big brand in the name of banks but its support is really poor. I had recently transacted using my debit card on make my trip and regretted it to the core of my heart.
I made the transaction in the last week of january where I was supposed to get 1299 cashback on a payment of 6000. I applied the code and it was successfully applied. I waited for 15 days before making a complain. I called at the customer care and they gave fake excuses and kept asking for more time. After a month I went to the branch near my place and asked them the same. A staff there assured that he too uses the offer and he gets the cashback so we will get it.
Again after waiting for few more days I went back to the same person and he was like we cannot do anything and you have to talk ro customer care. When that was the case he could have told us earlier rather than wasting our time! Still when we told that we have already made a complain he asked for proof and upon showing that he was like we cannot do anything.
I was so angry at him like this is the way you talk to customers shouting at them! I went away from there and my husband was there as he had some other work too. He came to my husband and was like why madam is angry and call her and stuff! Anyways we again went back to complaint to the customer care and after aeound 10 calls did I receive my money! Several calls amd mails were made and all they did was kept aaking for time and that they were looking into the matter!
I have been using this kind of offer from other banks too and I get the cashback within a macimum of 5 days and here it took around 2 months for getting back my money. We really have to think twice before using any offer from from this bank!
There loan service is also very poor where they promise something and charge something else! I was told that the charges will be something but instead I was charged doubled and when complained all they said was that the person who told you these is not available and we cannot do anything! So its basically that the bank works with persons and do not have any accountability of their own. Any person can come and say anything!
Axis bank is really very in service and after my current association I am thinking of never being associated with the bank anymore!
