Customer care is non existent, website crashes thrice a day, and especially difficult to log in around 9pm everyday, my international card had its PayPal transaction banned, apparently to protect my interest, without even once asking me, when I need the card to be active for international payments throughout the month. Explained three times in writing when still the same thing persisted for another 3-4 weeks, when finally after threatening them that I will stop my account and go to another service provider was my problem sorted. But this review isn't about all that!
Have you ever tried paying for your LPG Gas cylinder to either BPCL/HPCL or Indian Oil? You can pay online for your refill through every single Bank in India, except AXIS BANK! Don't know why?! Surely the Bank is to be blamed for this, as there is a drop down menu of every single Bank in India, both private and PSU, but there is no Axis Bank! I had to pay cash on delivery!
Have you ever tried paying for your Dominoes pizza, KFC, or buying food stuff through Swiggy or Zomato? There is practically offers on every single debit or credit card issuer, like HDFC, IndusInd bank, StandChart etc. But there is ZERO offers on any Axis Bank debit or even credit card!
So the Bank must be so bad that none of the Oil PSUs tie up with it, and no food delivery vendors tie up with it as well.
On top of that you get soiled note from nearly all Axis Bank ATMs, but if you get soiled and dirty notes out and instantly try to put back that note, the machine will tell you that the particular note can't be accepted, because it is dirty!
I think it is a third class Bank run by third class management. Its a pity that I have two accounts, just because of the Bank's proximity to my home .
Last but not the least, they charge you for the SMS they send for the transactions to or from your account, meaning debit and credit. They charge money, but at times, even after transaction, the SMS doesn't come.
Just rubbish Bank in my personal opinion
