I opened my first bank account around 6 months ago with axis bank and I am so happy with their services as we dont need to pay any amount to open account, we just need to fill the form and they will visit our home once for address verification.
You need - 2 passport size photos, aadhar card or passport and nothing elae.
Even their debit cards are more powerfull then any other banks card, like we can cashout upto 2 lakh per day as well we can make any international payment so its a plus point and in case if you need a simple but power packed bank account then go for axis bank rather then sbi or other.
