I have salary account in Axis bank, S. B. Road Pune branch. Don't open account in this bank. They are looting money.
I have bank accounts in AXIS, ICICI, SBI, IDBI.
Among them AXIS is most pathetic, useless bank which keep hidden charges.
Below are the bad/worst experiences.
1) UNLUCKLY I WAS FORCED TO VISIT S.B. ROAD, PUNE BRANCH TWICE-THRICE.
THEY ARE USELESS AND PATHETIC.. IF YOU GO TO BRANCH THEY WILL MOVE YOU ROUND AND ROUND (table to table). EVEN THEIR BRANCH MNGR DONT KNOW ANYTHING. When you will frustrate they will answer "will let you know when we will resolve the issue". Employees of branch even dont know whom to contact for net banking, phone banking issues. From bottom to top they are kind of illiterate people.
2a) When I was opening salary account, Axis bank's cheater employee gave me platinum card though I demanded simplest card. They loot around 400 Rs a year for this debit card.
2b) When I asked them to switch this card they said it is chargeble. No other bank are charging for salary account holder.
3) They charge for SMS alert. No other banks are charging if you have salary account in their bank.
4) Sometimes in 2011-2012 they started looting people's money with new way. They started charging 5 Rs. -10 Rs if you transfer money from Axis bank. After some days God came in their soul and they stop charging this.
5) They dont have anything like customer care. If you dial to their c.c.number they will ask you to enter whole lot of digits and finally machine will say you enter wrong entry and then cut a phone.
6) For every single thing they are charging. SMS service, DD, Debit card.
7) For every single work they ask to visit branch and in branch they will hand over a large KING size page which is full of confusion.
8) INTERNET BANKING: it is also extremely pathetic. I had bad experience many time. Their site dont respond well sometimes. It happened to me that I need to trasfer money to another account urgently and their site stop responding. Finally I have to open IDBI or SBI site.
9) Even till Jan 2013 if you write a mail to their customer care, there wont be any reply/acknowledgement. You would be wonder if your mail is delivered or not. After two days lazy people will reply. Now a days atleast they started acknowledging people's mail.
I applied in another bank for Salary account and once it will transfer I will close my account from such cheater bank.
Never had any-Any pleasant experience.
Even Government bank is better than this.
On top of this they were convincing me to shift my Home lone in Axis bank. I simply replied "Have I lost my mind to shift Home loan in Axis bank?"
