I just recently got my Axis card with much difficulty, although I have an account with them and also a loan account with Axis, there were several checks made through agents before delivering the card. Other than AMEX I don't use any card so this time I thought let use another international card too. I used it for 4-5 transactions, then I used it one day in Au Bon Pain where the staff said that card is declined, he swiped twice and got the same message , I called up Axis Card customer number to check the reason and I had to wait a long time for the Phone representative. I told the problem and he said that the transaction happened and it was charged, if you want to revert then go to the merchant and request them to cancel and then send cancellation slips to Axis otherwise go for dispute which will take 120 days to settle.
I am an overseas traveler, imagine if this could have happened in UK or France then Axis Card dept would have asked me to travel Overseas and settle it with the Overseas merchant. The service of the Card dept is horrible, there is no security , because of their technical problems u will get charged. So please do refrain from using Axis
