I always like to review products that I've been using since a long time and truly satisfied with it in that span of time. Today ill be reviewing the deodorant that I've been using since a very long time maybe since past 3 years. The highly appealing brand name which we call as AXE was previously known as LYNX as the brand name AXE had some limitations in foreign country. When this brand was launched in INDIA is had an moderate response where as it was a hit in foreign countries and 1 more thing is that AXE is a product of unilever.
Axe is a product of UNILIVER which is a very trust worthy and faithful brand to the customers, a brand which is highly recognized but millions of people in INDIA. I will go forward and share my experience with you guys with this awesome product or one can say and consider axe as a brand as there are many products based on axe too like axe powder, axe body soap, axe gel etc..
Why did I buy this product? Tired of buying various brands from different malls, was all pissed but never tried AXE as I always had negative vibes towards AXE as I thought it to be an shaving brand. After trying different brand in the market I finally switched to AXE that too on recommendation by my best friend. He also had just started using AXE but he was truly impressed by its appeal and long lasting strong fragrance. I then made up my mind to use AXE too.
At first sight the bottle appeared to me quite trendy and fashionable. I was confused as to how should I use the tester deo kept in the mall for trail base as it had some different mechanism to spray and test. The staff at the mall came and helped me out with trying the tester, the first spray itself was something different and noticeable. As I tried many brands and had a grip of every brand, this brand seemed to be something different. I made up my mind to buy only one as many brands claims thousand of things but fail to deliver at some point of time. I brought home a AXE MUSK DEO for around 140 as if had some 10 bucks discount on it and the best part for that time was that the deo had 30 ml extra ie 150 ml+30 ml = 180 ml for the cost of 140..that was a cheap deal so there goes my 1st happiness and remembrance for this product
Which alternate brands did I consider, and why did you choose this one?
I used many local brands and even some famous brands like set wet, nova, rexona, park avenue and the list goes on and on.......One thing to mention is that I've not tried reebok and nike deo's so cant comment about them as its too expensive for me to buy.
None of the products were to much impressive as per me, set wet was good but not worth as it was too expensive. At one point of time I was so pissed that I preferred putting perfume rather than deo, thanks to my best friend that he introduced me to this brand and even I felt that I should go for it cause it was gaining good hold on Indian markets and the appealing ads displaying the sensuous look and feel tempted me even more after my friend suggesting me and it wasn't a bad deal too as I got 180 ml for 140 bucks
What made me go crazy for this product and some limitations according to me :
Strong fragrance : This is one of the main quality that every person searches for in his/her deo, and this is the best part of this deo as this deo is very strong and long lasting. This deo claims to have effects upto 12 hours..but I feel it lasts for at least 7 hours, and that too is very long but traces of fragrance stay for atleast 12 hours so highly recommended by me. One of the strongest brand among all the deo's.
Protection : Axe provides protection from perspiration and bad odor. I've to meet clients on a constant basis so I have to travel a lot, axe helps me in perspiring a bit less and keeps me away from bad odor.
Complete worht for the money : It has all that I need for an ideal deo, so I am truly satisfied with this brand. And AXE has one good advantage in itself that the brand launches every 3 months new flavors and the new flavors are quite exciting to try out.
Living up to its brand name : Once a brand picks up its name in the market it always try to perform to its best and so is AXE doing the same. Good appealing ads make this product even more attractive. I still remember the chocolate edition of the deo where-in the ad was so appealing that every other guy carried this deo along with them.
Attract the crowd : The fragrance is not only strong but also very commendable, and it leave people praising ur deo. Many a times I've received compliments about this deo.
Just a few disadvantages :
Stinks if not used properly : Never use this deo in an appropriate way guys, by this I mean that don't just keep spraying like anything.. apply as per needs and don't spray too much, if too much applied then it stinks.
More gas content : The gas content is a bit more, but that' what gives the power that it has and the fragrance also..
Some guidelines:
*1. Don't buy from road side AXE DEO'S, infact don't buy anything from road side, always make a habit to buy deo's from the outlets.
Deo's are highly inflammable so keep it far away from fire and heat and sunlight and do not expose it to more than 50 degree centigrade & do not spray near fire & do not spray in eyes or wounds etc.
Do not inhale and keep away from children.
If irritation occurs discontinue with the deo
For best effect always keep the deo 15 cms away from the body and spray
Do not burn the can even if its empty.*
Who should buy this product? Who shouldn't?
Everyone can try this product..BUT ONE THING TO NOTE IS THAT THE CHOCOLATE FLAVORS AND THE WILD SPICE SHOULD BE TRIED BY YOUTH COMPULSORY HEHE

Axe click : Comes in blue color and its a good deo and recommended. 4/5 ratings
Axe Dark temptation : Comes in brown color and is very nice and highly recommended. 4.5/5 ratings
Axe dimension : Comes in orange color and is OK kind of and can be tried, cause every person does not have the same taste so it may fail to impress me but may impress others but still overall its fine. 3/5 ratings
Axe googly : Comes in light blue color and is also good. 4/5 ratings
Axe Musk : Comes in maroon and this is the best among AXE and highly recommended. 5/5 ratings
Axe Provoke : Comes in purple and this is also a good try but it din't impress me to an extreme case. 3.5/5 ratings
Axe Wild spice : This is also one of the best among the AXE range and its very sensuous too. 5/5 ratings.
Axe Recover : Comes in green color and is also a good try, better than the rest among the range but certainly not the best. Ratings 4.5/5
Axe Denim : Comes in dark blue and is also among the best & highly recommended by me. ratings 4.5/5
Axe pulse : Comes in green color and is also a good one in the range recommended by me. ratings 4/5
Tried all of them in 3 years, now its ur time to switch to axe if u use other brands, and if u already an AXE user, try other flavors.
There are more brands too but these are available in india..
Final words:
Do follow the guidelines, it was in general for all the deo's that we all use..very useful to keep one self safe from accidents. And by now u can guess it that I am obessed with this brand of deo..so highly recommended by me.
People who use it will surely agree to me and those who haven't used it this review would be very informative to u people. SO GUYS TIME TO IMPRESS OTHERS AND AXE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
