Robbins has great charisma in person. His books on tape are pretty good. But Robbins' talent is in his voice and his persona - not his writing. Although the book is adequately written, it lacks the pizzazz that one expects from Anthony Robbins. Not that it isn't a good book; it just lacks the humor of Tom Hopkins ''How to Master the Art of Selling; Warner Books, 1982, or the sincerity of Norman Vincent Peale The Power of Positive Thinking; Prentice Hall, 1952.
This is a good ''how to'' book, but a motivational book should . . . well . . . motivate! This does not make me want to get up and DO something! The taped version is a little bit better, but still not all that great.
If you want to be motivated, to feel great, to DO something, go to one of Anthony Robbins' seminars - if you can save up the $400USD (18,704INR). Or you could try his recorded seminar - that is pretty good.
If all you can afford is a book, his other one is a little better. Unlimited Power; Ballentine Books, 1987.
