I have very average lashes, but have always dreamed of having those long incredible ones that you see in close up shots of old movies. I know that most of those actresses used fake lashes, but I was hoping that Avon Incredible Lengths Mascara would do what it claimed and would give the appearance of longer lashes.
I ordered it from an Avon Lady, and I must say that this isn't the most convenient way to shop, since it takes 1 - 2 weeks to get the product. When it finally arrived I tried it over the mascara I already had on. I basically wanted to compare the color. This brown was a bit ''brighter'' then I was use to, but not bad. But, I didn't noticed any drastic difference in the appearance of my lashes.
So, the next morning, I tried it again on clean lashes. Again, I noticed no difference in the ''length'' of the lashes but the over all appearance wasn't bad. The color seems to hold up pretty good through out the day, no streaks or smudges. But, I did notice a slight irritated feeling in my eyes.
When I got home from work I washed off my makeup. The mascara wasn't the easiest to remove, but I was finally able to get it off. Or, at least what I thought was off.
The next morning I woke up to a burning sensation in my eyes. When I looked in the mirror I had dark make-up smudged under them and little brown flakes on the surface of my eyes, not to mention the gunky brown build up in the corners.
I wasn't at all satisfied with this purchase, thankfully Avon has a ''Satisfaction Guaranteed'' rule. Since I wasn't satisfied, I got my money back.
