Avalon is one of my all time favorites and even though I have been to couple of other pubs this stands out because of its selection in music ... Avalon is one of the best places to hang out on a saturday night where you can keep moving all night right till 4.a.m in the morning sometimes even later ... the couple entry here is 300 / - and then you get these counter coupons with which u can get a few drinks or something to fill that tummy ...
Appearance wise this is not classy coz its really crowded and more over its really small .. even the dance floor is small it looks very dingy but I love it because its not always playing techno or trance but varies right from the 60's rock to the d.i.s.c.o.and then to the latest hip shaking music thus creating a mood in you ... in between we even have the hindi remixes like jahan teri yeh nazar hai to jaanejaan dhoondhta phir yaha ..etc.. another bad point here is that its known as a famous pick up joint thats y its better if you either go with ur spouse or make a group of friends and have a gr8 time !
The food here is good but most of the time served cold ! to food I refer to snacks or appetisers ! the atmosphere here is very smoky and when you leave your nothing but smelling bad ! but then I guess thats the case in every pub ! but if you are not into technos and love pop songs then this is the place to be in ! though to have a nice time u have to find your place through the dance floor !!!!but surely not recommended if your alone ! another mention is to the guys I mean stags they are generally allowed on other days apart from saturday ! even on saturday if your early you can enter but otherwise its better if u have a partner !
