Obersdorf (spelling mistake regretted if any) is pure magic. Pure nature and nothing else.I never have the same feeling anywhere else before or after.
GEOGRAPHICAL DATA: A part of Alpine range. We visited from Germany to Austria by road. Distance from Munich may be around 200kms.
THE TOUR:
We took a car and entered into Austria with great hope and excitement. Before the place Obersdorf comes, the proximity is announced by the nature much before. And..here we enter….
The beauty that beholds you, the beauty that stuns you, magic.. pure magic!!!
Hills around you, valleys around you, snow caps around you, water trickling from melting snow around you, streams around you, trees without leaves around you…all natural all magical all wordless!!!
The air so pure- never inhaled before!
The air so fragrant- never smelt before!
The silence- never heard before!
The scenic beauty seen never before!
The chill- never thrilled before!
The streams- music heard never before!
As you drive past the hills, shadows of the Sun keep changing. You may have 100 sun-rises and 100 sun-sets!
Believe me, the sound of water trickling from melting snow was so pleasant, we slept down on the ground to hear it! Little childish, isn’t it? Well I think you enjoy a thing when you turn to child.
As informed, it is one of the costliest tourist place. Several hill-tops have been connected by rope ways so that you can travel from one to another easily. At each station, there is a hotel equipped with restaurant, rooms, play-grounds etc for tourists.
You may also hire bicycles or canoe(boat) if you have inclination. The cycling roads are separately made and enough streams are there for canoeing. Don’t bother to return it to the origin of hiring, it will be taken care of! Take it from any station and return to any station-very convenient, isn’t it?
Ski-arena was one to be astonished about. Especially for person like me who has seen it never before.
Yes, it was pure natural and pure magical. We could spend only a couple of hours there but does not matter, I can never forget it.
