I moved to Australia last year and this whole relocation stuff kept me away from Mouthshut. Did not get much time to login and write some reviews, but I must tell you that I did read reviews often on things I was looking to buy and I still actively use this website.

Now in this review, I wont focus on Australia and its cities..it will require a book to write about this wonderful land and its beautiful ever-ready to help people.

Now here in Australia, my work often requires me to move to new places, which means flying- and I love flying. Like Australians, their airlines are also too good, to be described in one review. I really love to fly, except British Airways (read my review on the same).

Some time back I had a chance to fly with Australian Airlines. It's part of the world-famous Qantas group.

I flew from Cairns- on the gold coast to Nagoya in Japan.

The airline's aircrafts are fairly new and well maintained. There was absolutely no problems in check-in and the ground staff in Cairns was very polite and professional. The timings and schedules are perfect. Depart at 11:45 and arrive around 18hrs in Japan.

Inflight-service is better than most airlines that I have flown. Cabin crew is among some of the best people I have ever flown with. Now I know that there are lusty men in aircrafts and they try to hit-on the pretty looking cabin crew members. It's a fact in the airline industry and so long as it's fun and decent, even the flight attendants don't mind. But in some European airlines ( BA etc) I have seen attendants become rude and even reprimand passengers. How rude! Surely, in Australian, the attendants are so friendly, and caring, you will have no problems in ''communicating'' with them, whether you're white, black or brown or oriental for that matter!!!

The guy sitting on the seat ahead of me was constantly flirting with one of the attendants, and it was all fun for both of them.

Their inflight entertainment has something for everybody.

I would give them 9/10 for cabin crew- deducting one point because they don't have good looking men in their cabin staff:(

Cairns and Sydney are well connected by Australian airlines and I will recommend anybody planning a trip from Australia to Singapore, Japan, Malaysia or Bali to travel on this airline. I know they have some good packages to these destinations.

Overall a new airline with limited but well served destinations.
