My Australian trip summer 2015. Review on Australia, General

My brother in law invited me to melbourne during summer break. He send all the necessary papers so that I and my family get visa. we applied for Australian visa through ekido travels(chandigarh). I was very skeptical of whether I will get visa or not but one fine day Mr. Kapil(owner) of Ekido travels phoned me and told your visa has been granted. man I could not believe I was going to Australia. that night I was dancing with joy and uttering silly things.

We got air tickets from Ekido travels only. we were going to go in Malaysian airlines. First stop Singapore second stop melbourne. We were four people me, wife and two kids.

I think it was 28th may, 2015 . we took a taxi from Chandigarh to Delhi Indira Gandhi international airport. at airport I was very nervous as I never traveled outside India . Got our luggage checked in. Filled many papers needed by custom. It is a very tedious job filling in papers confusing also. Finally we went to the waiting room for our flight. Malaysian airlines was good. but seating was very tight. Air hostesses were beautiful  but bit rude to all.

During the flight it became dark. we reached changi airport at around 1 pm in the afternoon. it was dark but wow Singapore . People were nice overall. I checked in a shop with a Malaysian women offering coffee. she did not speak at all with me in English but her language. I signaled her I cannot understand .she became bit angry. I was carrying Australian dollars so had to convert it to Singapore dollars to eat something. I was nervous.  next flight to Melbourne was only after 2 hours.

So had to check in  1 hour in advance. Changi airport is huge. had to run to reach the departure point. took monorail also to cross one area. again we were taking Malaysian airlines to Melbourne. There were lot of white men and women traveling in that flight. I got more nervous sitting along with a white man. Sorry guys  angrej log .. it was very long flight I think of 8 hours we finally landed in Melbourne. when I stepped outside the plane I still remember it was so damn clean and simple. no decorations spartan style. my brother in law had come to receive us. before that I had a bad experience with custom lady. she kept asking me robotically what kind of medicine I was carrying.? she was like a rude robot. People started staring at me. I got very nervous. wew after getting past that lady everything was fine.

I met my brother in law, his family we packed our bags in the dicky of car. wow you know parking lot of melbourne airport? first time I was literally walking in a movie. everything looked like a dream. while driving to melbourne at night the roads were so well made and hardly there was any traffic.reached home of my brother in law. it was not very big as he was living in rented accommodation but his locality after waking up in the morning was so beautiful and green that all indian hill stations would look so pale. the air was fresh so fresh I could not believe. it was winters there in australia . For the next few days we went near by areas around craigeburn where we were living, like went to malls and other shopping places.

My brother in law took holiday from work and we all planned to go to gold coast via road. it was 1600kms one side. He rented a suv . We all packed our bags and started our journey to gold coast. Gold coast is near sydney. we passed through varied landscapes small hills, rivers, deserts, forests, small towns. hardly any traffic on highway. almost empty for kms sometimes.

Well we went to canberra, sydney, gold coast saw interior of Australia.  but we did not go very deep into Australia remained on the east coast. Australian girls were amazing and beautiful. met many people from  Pakistan in Melbourne, some were close friends of my brother in law.

One experience I got scared was we were traveling back from gold coast we stopped at restaurant. I was wearing turban. Three guys all whites were sitting on a pick up truck 100 metres from me and they started staring at me. I was about to open the door of suv and get out but their stares were like warning to me . as if some racial attack might occur with me. to be safe I stayed in the suv.

Australia is not very romantic place to be frank but its still very neat and clean . for a romantic place France, Spain and england are good options.

Ending I would say that Australia has beautiful beaches water so blue that we feel god like. People on the whole are neutral neither friendly neither hostile. My choice for destination is romantic one. guys life is very short dont just run after money, do some adventures and see new things. Fall in love .
