Well first of all let me let u readers know that I am no big time critic or writer..This is my first attempt at some kind of writing..
My love for Rock music made me hunt for downloadable mp3s all over the internet and I was gravely disappointed ...almost given up and had no hopes whatsoever that I will ever get one single site that will give me what I wanted in music.Well I had tried napster but then most of the times I wasnt able to download the songs due to availability reasons...Gets pretty frustrating let me tell u...esp when u are a Rock/Metal freak like me.For some vague reason the best of bands in metal genre dont release their albums in India ...and fans out here are deprived of the music of their taste.Most of the times one has to rely on friends going abroad and ask them to get a good collection of CDs which is not a very viable option for many reasons.
I was once surfing and came across this downloadable exe at downloads.com .It said that this was an Mp3 search engine and will help me locate mp3s on the peer to peer basis.I had nothing to lose and installed it and registered with the site.The first search that I tried was on ''Black sabbath'' and was almost hopeless about the result .But the search zapped me.It was unbelievable.All songs of Black sabbath that I wanted were there rite in front of my eyes and waiting to be downloaded ;-) and what more ... no issues when I downloaded them..It was so easy..
Next thing I know is that after 3 weeks of using this site I have more than 300 mp3s on my PC.well that is more than I had ever expected ..and songs that I could never have procured ...
Now I have already started recommending this site to all metal freaks in my social circle and we are now so very thrilled
And whats more friends ......this is one site where u will find music of all genre....and THIS IS ALL FREE!!!!
What more can one ask for?
Such sites do kill the music industry in a way....BUT THEN WHO THE F CARES!!!!
