The asus zenfone max pro A1 is the latest smartphone launched in India from the Taiwanese company Asus. The phone is made especially for India according to the ceo. The phone has 3 variants 3gb ram/32gb rom , 4gb ram/64gb rom, 6gb/64gb rom. It is powered by the powerful mid range Snapdragon 636 six which gives a great balance between power and performance. The camera has a dual set up 13mp + 5mp dual flash for the rear and the front has a 8mp camera with flash. Note that this is for the 3gb and 4gb ram variants. The 6gb ram is said to have a better camera setup with 16mp+ 16mp rear camera and a 16mp front camera. Now coming to the review part: Performance: the Snapdragon 636 works like a charm paired with the stock android 8.1 oreo version. The gaming also is good although prolonged gaming session heat the phone up.Battery back-up: well to be honest this is actually the best part of the phone it features a massive 5000mah battery which last more than a day on heavy usage and with normal usage 2 days atleast.Call reception: the calk quality is sublime it's very very clear.Display: well it does have a great display although ips it looks beautiful. Its a 5.99inch screenCamera: the rear camera works like a charm produces great pics in outdoors and well lit condition and performs decently in indoor and low light conditions. The front camera's initially bad but after the software update its made much better but it struggles in indoor light. It also has provided a software update with face unlock feature.Overall: For ₹15000 this phone is a grab also this can put the redmi note 5 pro behind due to the price hike. Go for it if your having a tight budget im sure you will never regret it. Btw the company has assured that they will give android p and q updates for the phone!
