Moving on to Display and Build
The Asus X550LC-XX325D arrives with a 15.6-inch HD TFT LCD LED backlit Glare display which has a resolution of 1, 366 x 768 pixels and poses extra brightness while playing media files but can cause problems for your eyes. The grey colored outfit has spun circle finish on the lid along with patterns on the palm area and has a thickness of 31.7mm and a weight of 2.3kg. But the material used is not so durable and need to be used very carefully and the bottom of this laptop feels very weak.
About CPU and OS
Under the hood, the Asus X550LC-XX325D features 4th generation Intel Core i5 processor clocked at 1.6GHz and paired with QM87 Express chipset. The CPU is assisted by a standard 4GB DDR3 RAM expandable via 2 unused memory slots up to 8GB. The presence of discrete 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 720M graphics card gives the muscles to deal with high quality games and videos proficiently. It comes preloaded with 64 bit DOS in order to cater to the price or you can even buy a windows version.
Service
This laptop does not comes with Accidental Damage Protection and they costs you too much even for a small spare part out of the warranty. And they take 2-3 weeks for resolving your problem.
Overall bad buying experience.
