Getting Started
Eeebook comes with a Windows 10/8.1 64-bit OS preinstalled(Microsoft Office 365 and McAfee Internet Security 2012 included). X205 has a 11.6-inch display with a 1366 x 768 Pixels screen resolution(which is clear when you consider the size of this device) with a narrow bezel design measures only 17.5mm and weighs under 1 Kg which is awesome and really light and compact while travelling.
Computing power
This device supports Intel Atom Z3735F with speeds upto 1.33Ghz. Comes with a 2GB DDR3 RAM, 32GB* Hard Disk size(*although you can add a max of 128GB SD Card for additional memory storage), Intel Integrated Graphics.
Accessories
Includes 2 x USB 2.0, Mic in, 1 x Micro HDMI, 1 x Headphone-Out / Audio-In Combo Jack, 2-in-1 Card Reader(where you can place your SD Card)
Battery
This is the best part of Eeebook.although they claim that this device gives you 12hr on browsing or 13hr on music or 11hr video playing but as a user of this device for long, I can strictly assure you that the power backup has never gone below 8hrs.
It mostly depends upon what application you are using though! and X205 comes with a 2-cell battery.
Attractive features
The ASUS EeeBook has no CPU cooling fan(as you won't need one because no heavy applications run in this device) and thus keeps noise levels down, ideal when you want to work silently in libraries.
Chiclet keyboard that enables the keys to blend into the surrounding area of the keyboard and a HD LED Backlit Ultra Slim Glare Display is simply great.
Few FAQ by Customers:
Q) Is Asus eeebook x205ta good for programming?
Ans) Yes, but partially. You can run eclipse with java installed, c, c+ and other basic editors for Web design but that's it. Never expect running heavy applications like Visual studio or Android.

Q) Can I run Xilinx software and Matlab on this device?
Ans) Yes, partially
-Matlab(yes it works really well)
-Xilinx ISE(hangs sometimes)
-Xilinx ChipScope(only the Demo though)

Q) Can I upgrade my RAM and HDD?
Ans) No. You cannot upgrade both your RAM and HDD(they are soldered) although you can add additional SD card upto 128GB(which should be enough for this device)

Final Note: I'd recommend installing a Linux version OS instead of pre installed Windows for saving memory on c-drive.
