I signed up for an Astrology report from astrology.com on Dec 14, 2013. I decided to take a chance and sign up for a free trial from their long list of promotions so that I could get a free report.
I chose to sign up with freecreditscore.com. In order for me to get my free report, I had to agree to a 7-day trial with freecreditscore.com. I put in all of my information and selected submit. It said that there was an error processing my request. Turns out, however, that I did sign up to freecreditreport.com because I received an email from them confirming my trial.
I contacted Astrology.com and freecreditreport.com through email that same day questioning my free trial. My trial pay account showed the report I wanted but instead of it showing that it was being processed, it seemed like it was waiting for me to do the same free trial promotion over.
Clearly this was a technical mix up. I wrote Astrology.com again on December 15 and another time later in the week. I received no response at all and I could not find their phone number. I called freecreditscore.com to cancel my report on Saturday, but they said it was too late, my card had already been charged$17. So no free report and I actually ended up paying for a service I did not even want. THANKS ASTROLOGY.COM.
I've had other good experiences with astrology.com, but I'm not going to give them that credit until they resolve this with me.
By the way, it turns out you can call them as it is hard to find a number for them and you will probably have to leave a message: Call us on the toll free numbers within the U.S. at 1-877-447-6194, x 801 or from outside the U.S. at 1-415-447-6193 x 801.
