I ordered a 5-in-1 Air sofa from Ask me bazaar and received the sofa for which I paid Rs.2500/- Cash(COD). On filling the sofa with Air I found that the sofa is damaged and air leaks out of the Sofa-cum-bed and the product is not in a usable condition.
Immediately on the same day I raised the complaint in the askmebazaarcom/ support/ticket and I was issued the ticket no. 31456 on 18-12-2015(to my E-mail).
After this to review the progress of my complaint I was constantly logging in to the ticket area to view further updates. The site was showing "Processing" even after 2 weeks. Then I became anxious and contacted their customer care no. 044-444-4444. They told me to wait for for 10 more working days So I was checking in the ticket site for updates.
Then all of a sudden they closed the complaint "stating whether I am happy with the resolution of the complaint" . I was shocked to read this ridiculous comment. When I contacted them again they compelled me to raise another ticket. I couldn't understand the reason for this since my earlier ticket contained all the details including my Bank details.
So as per their direction a new ticket was done in their support site and I was provided with ticket no. 38454. Every day I use to check the status. The status was showing "Processing" all these days." Then there was a mail stating that my Bank IFSC Code is to be updated. This was also done. After that their site was showing "Awaiting my response.". I was unable to understand what response they require from me since I had provided all the details including my Bank a/c. details.
So I mailed to them regarding their site error. On day I was surprised to note that the 2nd ticket also was closed. I protested against these closure of tickets and raised a series of tickets in their support with ticket Nos. 38461, 38462, 41836, 41835, . 42863, 44121, 44191, 43713. They not only closed all these tickets but also BLOCKED MY ENTRY TO THE TICKET PORTAL.
Then I reviewed my bad experience with Askmebazaar in various internet forums. They sent me an E-mail dt. 11-01-2016 stating that they had arranged reverse pickup and the refund would be done within a weeks time. They also posted similar responses in these sites by apologizing for the delay. However the fact remains is that they have not kept their assurances even after several weeks.
On scrutiny of various complaint against askmebazaar in these sites I find that they have posted similar+ ve excuses. These actions from their side is just a gimmick. I would like to state that askmebazaar is a customer cheating site. They have dump of spurious and damaged products, which they want to sell by colourful advertisements and discounts. I appeal to all not to fall prey to these ads. and avoid be a Victim like me. My experience with on-line purchase from other on line stores is very friendly, very quick in response and the minimum TAT(Turn around Time) to solve issues.
The experience in askmebazaar is very much indifferent, we would be anxious, with much tension, no TAT, no response from the given support phone number and we are wasting much of our precious time in follow up action and finally we would realize that they have cheated us. I also observe various resolutions posted by them like "To have better insight to your complaint raise another ticket in our support.", "we apologize for the delay and have taken up your case seriously", "your refund is in process and soon you would ." all these are false assurances given by this cheating team. In my experience I would like to confirm that they have not kept their assurances made on reverse pickup & refund. Now God only knows whether I would get back the hard earned money lost more than two months back.
