For all running lovers, you should buy ASICS shoes. I have been using ASICS for last three years and I am extremely pleased with the performance.
ASICS has Overpronator, underpronator and neutral (normal pronation) shoes. Overpronation means that while running your feet is bending inwards, in under pronation the feet is bending outwards while running and in neutral the feet is flat stable on the ground. Best way to find out is to watch the sole of your old shoe. If the inner part of the sole is worn then you are an over-pronator. ASICS shoes tries to keep your feet neutral by adding a cushion in the shoe if you are an over-pronator or under-pronator. The shoes last for a very long time and more over the technology is so amazing that you will feel very light on feet.
I like ASICS but if you are keen to buy a running shoe just don't buy any brand. First find if your a over / under pronator or neutral.
Cost wise ASICS is a bit killing (between Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10000). I am aware that in India the ASICS brand is sold by Reliance Footprint.
