What a rubbish provider. The most simple requirement of an online booking site is to notify you when you need to provide further information to complete the booking. Second to that is, don't say the booking is confirmed and paid for if it isn't! It's not hard.
We made a booking online for our friends son who was stranded in Manila. We made a booking early morning and received immediate confirmation from asiatravel that the booking was paid and confirmed. He arrived at the hotel at 2pm and ended up waiting over 6 hours in the lobby while we tried to work out why the hotel did not have the booking.
It was only when speaking to Asiatravel on the phone that'miraculously' we received an email from them saying they needed more information from us before they could confirm our booking. Seems the booking confirmation they sent us 9hrs prior was a complete lie. The booking was neither confirmed nor paid for! I will just go back to using booking.com!
Avoid this provider if you want smooth process.
