Being updated in current affair is my favorite so news channels are almost inevitable in my life. Asianet News was one of the bear rated channels on base of value of the news telecasted. But I feel pity for the pathetic condition the channel is getting itself into. Just for mere TRP rating or cheap channel war;they have declined a lot in the quality of news and discussion.
Nowadays they are just interested in sensational news, rather than focusing on sensible and relevant news, They are not even interested in checking the genuineness of the news. They just want to come up with new breaking news and want to telecast it first and want to bag the credit. The news anchor are fighting on screen like they talking about. They want to score in the debates and win points against their opponents live. As far as I believe the field of journalism and media is socialize the happenings of a nation hence analyzing and eradicating a common issue with valuable contribution leading to social justice.
And to my astonishment these people are literally degrading media. As you open the channel, you feel irritated seeing the reporters fighting like predators and sinking the core topics. Any program has become of no value because once they get an issue every program is on the same- which unfortunately becomes a battle field many a times. Do you call this media fights? Well I wont the Nation is flowing to a state that you can only know what distortions are going on;rather than finding the truth.
