I'm FURIOUS with the ASIANET CUSTOMER CARE!

Im a foreigner living in Cochin. Im currently using Asianet and Bsnl.


Last week saturday, which is 21/06/2014,


I have got a CISCO modem installed at around 5pm .


I have chosen the Xpress 1999 plan, which provides 12mbps and 60Gb data with the payment around 2300Rs a month. Ive chosen this plan only for the online gaming purpose.


I could have chosen the xtream plan which provides 20mbps but that plan was not available in my area. Anyway, it doesn't matter.


Now the problem is.


On Saturday when the modem was installed at around 6pm, the technician told me that After 1hour the internet will be activated. But It didnt. So I called the customer care, and they said it will be activated 3hours later.


So I waited till 9pm, but It didnt work.


So again I called the customer care, and they said it will be activated during midnight.


So I waited till 4am!. But it didn't work!.


I was tired. I slept for 2hours and got up. And I called them again, and they said it will be activated by10am.


So I waited till 10am. BUT NO! It didn't work! SO I CALLED THEM AGAIN!


and they said. There is a cable problem in my house so they will send me a technician


tomorrow, which is 23/06/2014(today).


SO I waited till today 2pm. And I called them and asked when will the technician come.


They said. the technician does not need come to my home because there is a line issue in some other area. And said, when the technician solves the line issue there, It will work automatically. So I waited till 7pm. But it did not work! So I called them again.And they said, there is a line issue in my home so they will send a technician tomorrow.


What the.?


HOW MANY TIMES DID I CALL THE CUSTOMER CARE?!


ITS 6TIMES THAT I HAVE CALLED THEM FOR THE COMPLAINT!


ARE THEY TRYING TO FOOL ME OR WHAT?!


SHOULD I EVEN BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAY?!


I have paid 3530Rs for installing modem and advance fee.


And till now, I was not able to use the asianet internet, not even a single second.


IF THEY DON'T SEND ME THE TECHNICIAN TOMORROW AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM,


I will visit their Asianet Center and GET ALL MY MONEY BACK!


And tell everyone I know, about this experience so that they won't suffer like me.


IF U WANT PROOF of how many times I called them for the complaint, I will take the picture of my phone's call list and upload it here! EDIT: well this post was an year ago, at the end it turned out to be a cable issue which was not installed properly at the time of the installation. After 5 days(I clearly remember even now), the tech from Asianet had to come and reinstall it again.


Recently I am satisfied with Asianet internet. I have changed my plan to Xtream-2499


which provides me average 48mbps download speed and 11mbps upload speed with 160GB limit. Although the customer care is not good, I'm satisfied overall.
