It was towards the end of February 2007, that we committed
the mistake of choosing Royale Asian Paints to adorn our walls. Believe me when
I say that we made the mistake of believing all the print and electronic ad
campaign of this esteemed organization. Gullible consumers that we are, we paid
a huge amount for such an expensive makeover of our humble abode.
Result: Within three
months…
Paint was peeling and falling on our heads…
Suspicious oily liquid started seeping from walls with
darker & more expensive paint…
Black spots appeared all over on the lighter tones like incurable
chicken pox…
Final Picture: Our
house is looking dirty and shabby that we are too embarrassed to call people
into our home. Pride has now become disgust.
Irony: The room
in the house that was a MONTH EARLIER painted in Nerolac plastic Emulsions is
still looking great.
Moral of the Story:
Donot Believe An Ad That Sings Too Much About Its Product.
