Where's the real Viju? Gupt? . Review on Asambhav Songs

The first time I saw the promos on TV, I couldnt wait for the music to release and grab a copy before u could say Asambhav....read on to find out more.

First of all, buying this album is a sheer waste of money. Opt for something better instead. Donate it to CRY. Or treat yourself to more junk food. Or eat garam bhajiyas and drink pots of tea to a bill that would put a smile on your nearest chaiwaala' face.

Rajiv Rai teams up with his fav composer Viju Shah after the very forgettable music of Pyaar Ishq and Mohabbat once again. He sticks to his formulaic version of mystery suspense and action all presented with techo-wizardry.

Though Gupt was very successful as a movie and in album sales, the same cannot be predicted for Asambhav. Viju Shah is a very talented composer and his experimentation with techno music with an indian feel does sound good but he fails this time. Where is the good ol' Viju? Gupt ho gaya?

Though the album relies heavily on techno music, it will be only enjoyable as a background score in a multiplex and till the movie lasts. The songs, however lack the melody and depend heavily on instrumentation but like our classical oldies say, beautiful body;bad soul...flop combo. Ditto for Asambhav.

The only track that is worth listening is the Asambhav Theme but that too will last for a short period of time in your memory. Overall, a must-NOT buy!! But I am sure the movie will be a treat to watch going by the previews flooding over the net....
