Its small ‘dhaba’ like place called ‘Asal’ in Madhapur which claims to serve authentic home food. I went with my friends ther... I wassurprised by the quality and taste of the food. It offers north Indian thalis at rs 60 per plate (unlimited) and also 50 per plate for 4 rotis and rice. But whats good about this place is
Quality of food.
Rotis are very soft like home made..and wheat rotis not maida ones
Non greasy... I hate if the oil floats on the sabzi (it happens in most restarents) , but here its not the case , tasty sabzi and less oil.
The meal usually comprises of soft wheat rotis, 2 sabjis, 2 dals, pulav, raitha, papad and a desert. The meal is priced at Rs.60.00 per Thali.
It seems on weekends they have a special menu with a Paneer dish and a few other items that you wont find on the weekdays such as paratha or poori etc and hence the thali is slightly more expensive (Rs.75.00) on these days.
The ambiance is ok. Its not cheap . I really like the setting .
The food is cooked right in front of our eyes and is tasty, clean and hygienically prepared.
So, if happen to be in hitec city or around madha pur.. go check this place.
BTW its not visible from main road. Its near Motorola building , opposite lane. Don't get discouraged by the surroundings.. try it.. you will infidelity like it.
