P.S.Well I am writing this review in context of the ART OF LIVING course which I did, and found to be quite beneficial for handling stress.


TODAY'S LIFE IS FULL OF TENSIONS.immense competition and mad scramble for more and the best has weighed down heavily on everybody, by causing STRESS, DEPRESSION and ANXIETY.These negative feelings or emotions are a menace to mankind.and have a disturbing effect on our mind and body.We don't realise the amount of energy we waste in fighting with these dreaded disease.STRESS CAN BE CAUSED DUE TO A LOT OF FACTORS.like family conflicts, burden of studies or to always do well in your acadamics, health issues or job\office tensions.When we do not find a solution to fight with these problems we feel frustrated and stressed out.And that is the time we need a complete change of thinking and attitude.coz once we start thinking in a more positive way, the stress will slowly ease out.And that is where I found the ART OF LIVING course beneficial.since I am not a doctor I cannot tell you how you can handle stress but can definitly suggest you to join this course.


I had heard a lot about this course but never got the chance to join it.A few months back  I had fallen severly ill.due to which I lost weight and energy, i could not do my work properly or with full concentration.so all that brooding made me depressed and stressed out, and that is why I decidede to join the course this time on.And it proved to be quite beneficial.


ART OF LIVING is a six day course.and it basically revolves around breathing, they teach you various breathing techniques which will help you have control on your mind and thus fight with your problems in a more positive way.A teacher is appointed from the ART OF LIVING foundation.and for the first five days, they discuss all your problems and give solutions for them.Thy also teach you the ten keys of ART OF LIVING.All this is followed by breathing exercise, the main being SUDARSHAN KRIYA(it is a powerful breathing tecnique which has helped people come out of heir stress and negative emotions)there are various other kriya's like PRAYANAM and BHASTRIKA.which helps you to go deeper within yourself, generates energy and helps you deal with your problems in a better way.The last day they take you to the ashram where you have to sit in satsang and sing bhajans.i enjoyed all this a lot coz I am very spiritual and also that it gives you peace of mind.Luckily when I joined the course SRI SRI RAVI SHANKAR(the man behind the art of living foundation)was there in BANGALORE.so I got to see and listen to hm.So all in all ART OF LIVING course is a good experience.


I won't say that any miracle will happen to you after joining the course.and you will be free from all your worries overnight.coz everything takes time, you have to practise it.but yes, you feel a change in your mind-set, it will take you near to god and give you strenght to face life situtions in a more mature and positive way.
