We went an afternoon to Aromas of China at Richmond Circle - for a business lunch. We went on a weekday - so no reservation was necessary.
The food was quite good. We started with Veg Clear soup and some potato starter (dont remember the name). The starter was excellent.
Reg main course, we went for 2 noodles, veg side dish, fish dish (dont remember the name either) and Chicken fried rice. The portions are large. When we placed order for 2 noodles for 2 people, the waiter warned us about the portion and we agreed to go 1 by 2. But both us were not able to finish that one plate also full ... (that was after some soup and starters. So I feel we ate less). Our other 2 friends being Non-vegetarians ordered some Fish dish. They said the fish was bit smelly - not cleaned up properly. We raised a complaint and they replaced the dish - this time it was ok.
Regarding the ambience, it is good. But the wall facing entrance has paiting filled with dust or it was not maintained well.
The price was high: for 4 of us, it was 2700.
If you dont mind the price, then go for this.
