I am going to write about my college and life in hostel so it may be boring for few people but I hope this review will be very helpful to those who are trying for engineering entrance exams.1994 a college came into existence in the outskirts of pune on alandi road.
Affitated to pune university.Till now 10 batches has been passed out of this college and we are proud to have very strong active alumani network.
About AIT(Army Institute of Technology):
Total intake per year:240, with four branches of Computers, Electronics and telecommunication, Information Technology and Mechinicals.Entrance exam through AIEEE, held every year in first week of may.
About academics:
I have seen almost all college in pune(not for tech-fest but for sports and gumne-firne).But if it is about infrastructure, we are the best.(Even best for sleeping in class).Projectors in each class but can’t watch out of the windows as they have curtain. .Below is the snap of my academics block.
Naach Ganna:*
In 4 year of my hostel I have only seen people playing, dancing or singing but still we are the best the overall passing percentage in pune university(PU) .*{just a small info.-> If u are planning to join any college under PU than just have a look in the numbers of student who have completed 4 year engineering in 4 years} * Only college in VERVE(India’s biggest inter-collegiate cultural festival, organized by Express youth Forum) who won 1s prize 3 consecutive years.Each year 2 cultural fest, sufficient for us to keep our mouth shut.
Life in Hostel:
The best part I would like to tell.We were lucky that our hostels was very close to academics block so we can decide to bunk class and hide in hostel any time. The first year was like hell. Only 3 thing happen in 1st year through out was raging, raging, raging.2nd year this time also most of time was wasted on raging but now we are on the upper berth.3rd year was time to take responsibility for organizing cultural and sports events, farewell to seniors etc. Seriously very less time to enjoy this year and now I felt that time is running.4th year(king of jungle) do what ever, whenever. You just have to order from your singlet room.
Placement:
what if I said we don’t want to be placed(atleast from college). It’s the time when you will be the most happy(first job) and most unhappy(belt party—2 days bed rest) at the same time.about the stats it 100% here.ya want to tell you guys that it’s not like that students from AIT goes for ARMY after graduation, most of student opt join private companies. But still every year some guys do join Indian Army because of passion for it.
