Yes. Its a surprise. For so less an amount, this brand is perhaps the only Indian Regular Whisky that manages to pull off a few stars on taste and blend.
But I can't see ACP anymore at shops. Sad. For just Rs. 270, this offered so much that no other regular brand can offer. For this price, you could at best, look at DSP or McD. Okay coming back to whats good about ACP.
Blend - Its surely not a regular cheap blend that works like acid down your throat. Its refreshingly on the smoother side. The blend hasa hint of malt whisky. Just a hint, nothing more though.
Smoothness: Cant say smooth, but yes, for the price you pay, it comes across as a decent whisky to have
Taste - At the top end, only Signature can talk of its magical taste. At the bottom level, full marks to ACP. It surely has a woody bouquet, just take a whiff when you pour a drink and you'll know what I mean. No other cheap whisky can come close to this.
Ideal to mix it with soda and water in balanced proportions. But yes, go easy on ACP, because your system might not support more than 4 large drinks at a go.
Great option for rainy days when you want a drink but can't afford premium brands. Of course you have Royal Stag always to fall back on, but go try ACP for a change. You'll be surprised.
