Are soft drinks healthy?
Well well well. It is a highly debatable topic that can divide the people in exact half on either side of the debate.
As far as I am concerned, you bet they are. They are indeed healthy for many reasos.
1. They quench your thirst
This gives you a mental relief. This means that you are happier a little bit more than before you had a drink. This makes a lot of difference in the minds of many. For many mental healthiness is of utmost importance.
If you remain thirsty, it can lead to a lot of other complications(You can quench your thirst with water and fruit juice also!)
2. They act as an inducing agent for digestion.
Believe me!. Many of the soft drinks have chemicals that can help dissolve and digest the food you eat. This goes in tandem with the food.
3. Healthy ingredients.
Soft drinks have few indirectly inducing agents that does good to your health. Believe me, many of these wouldn't get approval of FDA or any other agency otherwise. No one wants to give you a disease and gets sued for billions later for peanuts they get for a drink, including the mammoth marketing fees( You can renut this point also. I can do the same)
4. Makes you active
Caffeine and others in these, although not advised, makes you active at least for a short period.
All in all, my point is made!
