Arch Friends. Review on Archie

Firstly, I wonder why Archie is listed under ''Children''...yeah, I know...maybe its cos people assume that only kids enjoy it...but I am sure many of you out there disagree...Archie Comics are enjoyed by people of all ages...provided the person enjoys reading comics...

i dont remember when I read my first Archie - but am pretty sure it was when I was in school...my mum used to buy them for me sometimes...and I also used to borrow them from a public library...i immediately took to them...and become a hardcore Archie Addict...

set in Riverdale and Riverdale High School, the stories revolve around a whole bunch of friends who are verrrry different from each other, but great friends nevertheless...

a bit about the characters...

Archie Andrews - a red-haired, freckled teenager. always broke. very clumsy. car (jalopy) always conks off. always late for school. girl-crazy. cannot decide between betty and veronica. jughead's best friend. parents are sweet but strict

Veronica Lodge - daughter of filthy rich Mr. Lodge. servants at her beck and call (Smithers). spends a lot on fashion, cars, etc. can make Archie follow her around like a pup. also known as 'Ronnie'

Betty Cooper - simple, homely girl. truly loves Archie. cooks very well. very helpful. often loses Archie to Veronica. very intelligent

Jughead Jones - food is his best friend, followed by Archie. Is very lazy. Often late to school. Hates girls.

Big Ethel - Loves Jughead !

Reggie Mantle - Quite rich. Always tries to get at Archie and make him look dumb. Is very egoistic. Thinks he is God's gift to women. Tries to woo Ronnie away from Archie. Is often ''line-maroing'' Midge.

Midge - Big Moose's girl. truly loves him. very faithful.

Big Moose - Loves Midge. Huge and stong. Hates Reggie or anyone who tries to mess with Midge. Very dumb.

Mr. Weatherbee - Principal of Riverdale High. Hates indiscipline. Often gives Archie detention (especially when late).

Mrs. Grundy, Mr. Flutesnoot - Teachers at Riverdale High.

Mr. Lodge - Veronica's super rich dad. Hates Archie.

Other characters - Sabrina the teenage witch, Josie and the Pussycats, Chuck Clayton, Katy Keene, etc.
