I had wanted to send a gift for my friend who is in a town in Kerala.First I enquired with my couriers.No one had shipment service over there expect Aramex.I enquired with customer service of Aramex and they assured me that the shipment will be promptly home delivered to the recipient .When the courier reached Kerala, I received a notification(false update) on my mobile that the shipment was refused to be accepted by the recipient and it is being returned to my place.I called my friend and she said that no courier boy had even visited the place.I called the Aramed office there and he said that he cannot do home delivery and if the recipient wantsthe consignment she can come to the office to collect it.I said that when I first sent the shipment they assured me that it will be home delivered.He said he did not want to know all that and the choice is mine, the recipent can come and collect or he will return the item.I told him to return the item.I do not want to get his favour for something which is my right as I have paid for the services.
I will never deal with Aramex again, since I had similar bad experiences with the same courier service before also.
