I have purchased a book from Bookadda.com on 31st of July 2012 under COD. According to them they shipped the book through Aramex on 1st of August 2012, they confirmed this by SMS and they gave the delivery time of 24 to 48 hours. When book was not reached to me in this time I have emailed them and asked for Shipment Tracking Number and they told me that book will be delivered in next 24 hours.


Again I had asked them for Shipment Tracking Number and this time they send me the Shipment Tracking No. 4396499166 and  in an email they told me that we have already written this matter to Aramex and delay is because of their carelessness.. Anyway Tracking Status shows that book was shipped on 2nd of August 2012 and reached in Indore (my city) on 8th of August by the speed of Tortoise.


On 10th of August someone from Aramex Courier, Indore called me on my Mobile and asked me to collect the courier from their Office (instead of delivering it  to my residence) , I had asked him to deliver it to my residence because I was out for work. He told me that you should collect the consignment from Aramex's  Indore Office. I told him again that I not able to collect the book from their office and you had already delayed the delivery of book for more 10 days.  Now today is 14th of August 2012  and  book is still not reached to me and the Fraud Workers of Aramex  are daily updating the wrong and false status of Shipment as follows:




  1. On 10th of August 2012 they had mentioned that " Attempted Delivery - Customer Not Available / Delivery Rescheduled:




Reality is that Aramex's Indore Office Workers asked me pickup the book from their office on Phone and I denied it and they updated the status as above without visiting to house.




  1. On 13th August 2012 , I have got an SMS from Aramex Courier in which they mentioned that " You order with Shipment **Tracking Number 4396499166 is pending with us due to consignee not available/premises closed". But reality is that I was at home for all the day and no one from the Aramex was reached to my house and they falsely updated the status above.




Everyone can see the they did not delivered the book on time and now using false information on their shipment tracking status. I have already informed the Bookadda.com about this delay but books is still not reached to me.


We can see that how careless they are with Cash on Delivery orders and what they do with Paid Consignments.  So never trust them and never use them.
