Recently i availed cinemax multiplex's 100 ka 1000 offer which claims that one can avail discount upto rs. 1000 on one time payment of 100/-. The discount shall be available on future online bookings within next 3 months.
The offer is nothing more than pure cheating which i had never expected from such a large multiplex chain. When i booked online tickets next time after making payment of rs.100/- . I got a discount of rs.3 only. So that way if you want to avail discount upto rs.1000, you will be required to book about 333 times which will cost you. You can imagine.
What they do is that they give you discount of 10% on cost of movie tickets but at the same time increase the convenience charges by an amount that eats up all your discount. And all you get is a discount of rs.3/- (not enough even to buy a cup of tea these days) irrespective of number of tickets you book.
They claim to disclose terms and conditions of the offer but very cleverly does not mention the fact that convenience charges will be increased than normal.100 bucks do not matter but I really felt petty on the mentality of such a big corporate house running this multiplex chain that is doing all this just for 100 bucks.
