Aprilia SR 125 was launched recently and I purchased this scooter for my daughter. The dealer network and the delivery was just great. As I was driving this scooter on Chennai roads, it was just easy to drive and the engine is simply fast and it has got a commanding view.
Comparing to every other scooter it has got bigger and wider tires and the road grip is very good.
Commuting in Chennai traffic the scooter proves to be easy to manage.
The headlights are great, the kick starters are also very well placed.
I have been driving two-wheelers for the last 30 years, In my experience, I have never seen such a bad seat in any other vehicle. The seat is just most uncomfortable.
The suspension is very hard and the seat is totally uncomfortable to sit. Even though every other thing about this scooter is too good but ultimately how it takes you to one place to other is important.
After traveling about 25 km with my daughter on the back both of us felt very bad and we felt we had the urgency to get out of the scooter fast.
The company if they want to have a good number of sales in India, they have to change the seat, same that of Vespa and put a softer suspension. harder suspension helps in cornering at high speed is ok, but they can put suspension like white power as it is in KTM. I also have a KTM 390 which has got a beautiful suspension.
