How to get a working visa for USA….?

Hi Readers I am just presenting the situation I faced and the best way I found to get a working VISA for USA. This may be useful for people thinking of moving to the country of wealth, entertainment and luxury, yes I am talking about the United States of America.

Situation: My cousin started up a construction business in Texas. But because of a fatal accident he was not able to continue and take part in the day to day operations and so the responsibility came to me. I was having a good job at a good position and moving to USA was never on cards. But due to the circumstances I have to take this decision which I never thought of in my life.

VISA CRISIS:  Its about 2 months back when we checked out with the attorneys we found that H1B quotas of 65000 is already book and I have to wait till September 2007 to get a H1B visa. Since my cousin a Green Card holder so there was no issues with the H1B visa and most importantly I was going there as an entrepreneur of a construction firm.  So now the situation that arose was how to get a visa till Sep 2007. The only option I had was getting a six months traveling visa and for that also I have to wait for 2 months for visa appointment in New Delhi. But my trip was real urgent as I have to move as soon as possible.

Traveling vs. Working Visa. It’s important to mention that I needed a working Visa and not a Traveling visa. Traveling visa in any case is easy to get if you have relatives and a decent job here.

Best Solution: Since I was working in a Fortune 500 company I got my cards placed well. I planned an official visit through my Company for Little Falls and within a week I got my Visa interview. Since I had the sponsorship letter from my company they didn’t ask me much and I ended up getting a 10 year working visa. So I planned my visit took 2 months of extended leaves from the company for private reasons and landed in Texas,

Another important information those who are thinking of starting up business please consult attorneys before you start up any proprietary firm as this involves unlimited liabilities even for dormant and sleeping partners.

Summary: In order to get a working visa either u apply by April of any year if you have a sponsorship letter or any relative calling you who is a green card holder. Cause the quotas of H1B visa is fixed and it gets exhausted pretty soon. April to May is the best time for applying for a working H1B visa.

However If you have missed this opportunity than the second option left is join a BPO/KPO or any company having Headquarters and Registered office in USA. If you can plan out even 2-3 days of trip from the company you will get a 10 yr working visa for USA. So you can just come back or resign from there only and join any company in USA.

Another Shortcut is Adoption. If all the means fails than adoption is the best deal I am not having much information on this but my attorneys in USA advised me this as well.
