First thing first,
No matter , nothing, I can tell u one thing , u gotta have this phone and have it now.
Hey guys, It has been four months that I am using Apple I phone 2G (version 1.1.4) and can tell u a thing or two about it.
I purchased this Apple I phone from the gaffar market in delhi Rs 21, 400 only (memory capacity 8 GB.)
Earlier I had sony ericsson P-990i .
I can tell you one thing that this APPLE I PHONE is quite unique and stylish .It is around 12 mm thick and has a 3 inch * 2 * inch high resolution screen. The features are quite amazing as it can be easily operated by a soft touch of your fingers .You can easily scroll up and down right and left by a soft touch of your fingers. I must say that the operating software of this phone is the best to date as everything moves so quick and fast. In some earlier phones like sony the operating system always got stuck. But in this phone with the capacity of inbuild memory of 8 GB it works very well.
Also there is a I pod in this phone. The video playing quality of this phone is fantastic but it does not have video recording. You can store movies in this phone(from pc or net) and the quality is as good as a dvd movie. For the songs the sound is not very loud in the speaker but is good when listened through the headphone. The incoming and outgoing call quality is not very good sometimes but overall it is o.k.
One important thing is that there is no official release till now for this phone so you have to buy this from the grey market and unlock it from them. Guys , it was announced a week before that Apple is launching the 8gb model for US199Dollars. But , i think it is not going to release in india for this price. They also load some basic softwares and games for around Rs 500.The battery life is kind of o.k. . With my usage it goes for one and a half days and I use it quite a lot.
All in all I can say is that if you want to have a stylish phone with a great camera (2 Megapixel)and ipod this is for you to buy.
