Well i'm going to keep aside the fact that i'm an apple fanboy. my review is based on the usage that I did with the apple watch. note : apple watch only for apple iphone users.
Looks:
Well there are almost or more than a dozen of smartwatches that look great, conside moto 360 and samsung s gear2, they look awesome apple people we have to accept that this is not the greatest looking watch, but the variants that it come in makes it special and that too 18k gold ( friggin costly ) and also with ion x glass or sapphire crystal glass based on the model. Its like an old schoolshape watch with rounded rectangular edge and curved bezels, but there are tons of strap options that you can change and its easy to swap it out. personally for me ther could have my custom watch faces ( dails) . you can get two differents size the 38mm and the 42mm for different price tags.
Usage:
Well guys the apple watch is pretty oustanding in the usage side. The number of apps that supports apple watch is growing day by day.for christ sake we can even check our bank accounts in the watch itself, but bascially its acts a another device that pops all the notifications from your iphone thats in your pocket to your wrist with a nice feedback and you can also respond to it with few options that are suggested by the watch. The battery can withstand up to two days with normal usage and under heavy usage itll last day and itll end up in power reserve mode ( only time can be seen ) . Its has a easy and simple to use interface that anybody can understand.
I personally felt it more usefull when I was driving because there is no need to stop and check your iphone for directions, once you put up your destination and route it, its pops up in the watch and there will be a headsup for a direction change and the next one is when I put my iphone in charge in my office ( note always kept in silent mode : P) I will be notified with the phone calls and I can also take the call with my watch , and also the other notifictions also.
next will be remotly controlling your iphone with the watch, you can control camera, music, and other stuffs based on the app that it has.
Personal care:
Guys this is about fitness. I used this baby at the gym and it works great, it has a heart rate sensor that is accurate and pedometer to check the steps and the gyrometer to find that wheather yout standing or in motion. It has a lot a features and mode for every different exercise whether its walking or jogging or cycling or running there is mode for it.
End - Well if you use this watch for two days, then youll be come dependent on it but the only bad fact is that it pairs only with apple device unlike the microsoft band or samsung s gear 2 or moto 360 or fitbit or protroincs yogg and etc. if your using iphone 5 and above and if u can afford ?34500 to get notifictions on your hand then no doubts you can go for the apple watch its totally worth it.
