I am using MacBook Pro MD101 model for the past several years.
This is an amazing machine to do my daily office work which includes, Email, Internet Browsing, and working with Office files. I am using the office suit from Apple which includes - Pages(for Word Processing), Keynote(for presentation) and Numbers(Spreadsheet application). You can work with MS Office files with these applications from Apple.
The machine is preloaded with the Apple's Mac OS X operating system including all licenses, and all the updates and upgrades are free unlike Windows.
The Operating system is very easy to use and highly secured compared to any Windows OS.
I am not using any antivirus software on my MacBook Pro and never faced any virus issue even after connected to the internet, almost always.
This is the only Apple Laptop now with a DVD drive.
This is recommended for any office users or students.
It comes with Aluminium unibody enclosure and Mag safe power adapter(this will get connected magnetically). The macbook pro also comes with magnetic latching mechanism so that there are no mechanical latches to break while closing or opening the screen.
