I own an apple laptop i-phone 4 & 3 and an ipad. After some time, these made in china products start giving trouble. So you need to service . Can get it done form anywhere except the service centre. Charges diagnosis for mac book pro 2300/-, keyboard fault 14, 000/- . The whole top case need to be changed, screw 500 if you drop one ( I dropped 4), IC change 30, 000/- AMC charges 8-9000/- So I was lucky : my equipment lasted couple of years but many only suffer.
If you are planning to buy one, simply go and first find a service center, sit there for 10 mins and then happy buying!! If you can afford to buy and throw, buy a software, again not from an old machine. Then it is no problem. Also, no one will tell you that half of the programs are not compatible to copy from apple notebook to others. If you are looking for changing a charger / laptop adopter as the wire is very soft and you need to buy the whole damn thing, be prepared to buy for Rs. 6, 000/- or go to Bangkok and get it for 4, 000/- .
So be careful when you buy for me service is as important. learnt my lesson after enjoying the product for sometime. Guess I was lucky with made in China.
