We all are mesmerized when we hear the name apple when it comes to laptops and other gadgets but how practical is it really to spend spend those extra bucks on a mac?
I own a mac and a pc. I have been doing phot shop work on both and frankly speaking the pc does a better job.
The Mac was a great machine till 2006 as they had an internal architecture of their own named powerg4 so companies like adobe had to make the same software twice, one for power g4 and the other for Intel based pc.
At that time the Mac version worked better but later macs started using Intel based microprocessor which the same as pc and thus it does not make a difference if you use a mac or a pc to get the job done. After using the Mac for a year I think it's all show as the pc can do a much better job for less cost. So coming to the question is it worth the extra bucks. Well if you want to show off the apple logo then yes. But if you have work to be done then a big NO.
