I was not keeping well last year and My ESR levels were above 100. But still due to some other symptoms, I was suggested few other tests from doctor like Vitamin-D, Vitamin-B12 which are pretty expensive. Then I got to know about a GROUPON deal going on which included all these tests along with many other tests just in 1800. It was like a complete health check-up just in 1800 bucks. So we thought to go for it.
They come at home early morning, collect blood/urine samples and sends the report after 1-2 days. So, when we saw the reports, we were amazed to see that all the values were normal for all the tests. Let me give you an example:
Vitamin-D value(Should be greater than 30):
Apple-a-day value - 29.6 came(17 September)
Test Done from St. Johns hospital - 4.2(25th October)
[ How come the deficiency drops to this much in 40 days. And due to this my treatment got delayed which made me suffer a lot. ]
ESR Value(Normal Range:
ESR in st johns - 104(7th september)
ESR in appleaday - 14(17th September)
ESR in st johns - 68(13th October)
[ How can my ESR go to 14 from 104 just in 10 days, and then again rise to the level 68? Also, ESR was in normal range, what was the reason of my acute inflammation;) ]
So, after seeing this data, anyone can understand the authenticity of their tests & how genuine they are. We have even raised the complaint and they provided lame excuses. They also said, that if we are not satisfied with the results, then they can do one more round of tests. Though I refused as I don't want to waste my blood again.
If you have any health issue, don't reply on their reports & get yourself checked from any authentic center or any good hospital.
