I am holding Bajaj Allianz mediclaim policy. I thought to port into other company because of higher premium. Regarding this, I had a discussion with Apollo sales team member Prabhat. Based on his commitment and as a good sales person, he assured me Apollo is doing very good in term of risk coverage and releasing all the claim. I agreed and request to port my policy into Apollo optima restore plan and paid my first premium through Credit card on 13 Sep 2016.
I received a call on 16th Sep and sales team member start explaining, we will not be able to give all the benefits of optima restore because of bla bla reasons. Their reasons are totally unacceptable. I decided not to port my policy and ask my money back and he promised that refund will be initiated within 4-5 days.
Till today, my refund has not initiated and they are not ready to give me any definitive date when they will refund my premium Rs 16, 424/=.
I talk to Prabhat, Jey(his supervisor), Sachin(Floor manager) and other as well, no one ready to tell or mail any definitive date.
My questions -
They are into this business for quite long time and they already knew that every policy can't be ported as is. Why they didn't ask me the policy before?
Why they are not able to give me any definitive date of refund? What are their roadblocks?
Health is everything and your mediclaim company is utmost important in that case. They are as important as your monthly salary or your annual profit. Their policies, values, vision, mission and what they are doing to achieve is important to understand the company working. Don't waste your hard earned money on Apollo like fraud companies. Better to pay high premium and remain safe and healthy.
They are not eligible for even single star.
