The worse company I have ever seen. They will frustrate you so much that, it cannot be described in words. Never ever buy any policy from Apollo Munich, because at the time of emergency, they will literally torture you. They are least bothered about customer satisfaction.
My father was diagnosed with a critical disease and had to undergo an immediate surgery. To get an initial approval we had to wait for 2 days and need to provide them so many documents(not at one go and keeping in mind that we have been a regular policy holder from last 5 claim free years).
They will follow the KYC norms at the time of admission in the hospital. Who made this policy to follow the KYC norms at the time of emergency, I would definitely like to meet that great person? KYC should be done at the time of new/renewal of a policy. As an address proof they will not consider Voter ID, you need to provide Ration Card/Electricity Bill/ Bank Statement.
Overall, I just want to warn each and every one existing customer or who are planning to buy a policy from Apollo Munich, please do not go for it. Do not waste your money because at the time of requirement they will only and only torture you. We have 5 policies in my family all from Apollo Munich, now after this pathetic experience, I will never continue any of my policy.
