My Experience with Apollo was very disappointing. They want to make money and for that they don’t care for the patient’s life. Two weeks before midnight, my mom started bloody vomiting , she was critical as the HB goes very low, we rushed to Apollo Jubili hills. No Doubt they gave very good service in emergency ward and it was quick and effective. She stopped vomiting. The case was assigned to Dr. Suresh ( oncologist) and Dr. mehar lakshmi ( oncologist). Then we were told that her platelet count is very low and she is suffering from ITP. they were giving her shots of medicines that costs around 60k \90k every day without asking anything from us as they know that she is covered under insurance. after 10 days Dr. Surech told us that insurance amount is over now. Arrange around 5 laks of money for surgery.
He came with a surgeon and they said she is very critical and she needs surgery urgently or she will get brain hemorrhage. They them self said while surgery also risk is there. We got scared and decided to consult another Dr., we showed all the reports to Dr. Narendra nimz.and we were surprised to know that my mom is doing fine and she does not need surgery at all. Infect it will be dangerous if she will go through surgery as her platelet is low and blood flow might not stop while any type of surgery. Our bill was already 3.7 Laks. When we decided not to go for surgery and take discharge .next day they came and said my mom is doing fine and her platelet is good it improved overnight. :P. they are bluffers and cheaters never ever trust them.
