-I have seen lots of reviews about this doctor on suggestadoctor.in website and have gone to this doctor for a treatment of liver/gastric disorder.
-I had already consulted couple of doctors which have not shown great results. Hence, I have decided to goto this doctor and had flew 1000 kms. Money is not a big constraint for me. I was born in a rich family. So, I thank god. But, I just wanted to bring my feedback to public notice. After reading this, it is up to you to go to this doctor.
-Doctor Mohan is aged about 55-60 Years. When I first met this doctor, I told him all my problems and shared with him previous reports, which were taken two days ago. He saw the reports and told that medicine which was being used for gastro is bad.
-He is a great actor. He acts as if he is god and he gives lot of funda about life, Wikipedia and he insults the patient's habits and work. You say any name, he says that doctor is great friend of him and he also says that, he is far better than his friend. Who needs all this BS.
In first attempt he charged me 1000 rupees for consultation. He wrote a lot of tests(which were done just two days ago) along with some other tests. He wrote endoscopy as well with empty stomach.
-He asked me what the previous doctors told. I wanted to be genuine and told him the history and did not question about the tests.
-Next day, I gave my blood sample for tests and went for endoscopy. Endoscopy finished and he asked again what the previous doctors told. I told him that I never had undergone endoscopy earlier.
-Next day, reports came and I went to show the reports and was very eager to take medication from him.
-He saw the reports, looked at the medication which I have used earlier under other doctor and he did not reveal what was there in the endoscope and also he told that the old medicine which I was using for gastro is good and asked me to continue.
-And he suggested few tablets which are cheaper when compared to the ones given by previous doctor. I was surprised later to see that in Apollo pharmacy that these are much expensive than the ones which are being used earlier. However, I was told earlier that the doctor would get commission for the brand he suggested.
-And also, learnt that the doctors would get great commission in the lab tests( 10-20%). BTW, the tests at Apollo costed me 25000 rupees. The same tests in Thyrocare would cost 4000 rupees.
-Finally, when I asked him what was the exact problem and how the medicines would help me cure, he told me that this is not US and he abused me and my father saying "What nonsense you guys are speaking? Do you think I am taking medical classes here? This is not US. It will not work out in India to spend lots of time. Leave this place."
Look at the way he treats people and I feel that as a patient(called a customer/client now-a-days) I have every right to know how the medicines would help me to reduce these symptoms.
-But, finally, I dont want to argue with him. Also, learnt that since I am from a different place and can't come to apollo often so, he won't be interested in spending time with me.
So, just thanked him and went out.
